New job vacancies at the Citizens Advice Bureau

 

East End Citizens Advice Bureau provides information, advice and advocacy services in the London Boroughs of Hackney, Newham & Tower Hamlets currently has job vacancies for a Welfare Benefits Caseworker/Supervisor, a Financial Inclusion Officer and a Generalist Adviser.

 

 

WELFARE BENEFITS CASEWORKER/SUPERVISOR

 

Experience required: You will have extensive experience on all welfare benefits at casework level, preparing benefit submissions and representing clients at Tribunals. You must be able to train bureau advisers at one to one level and deliver group sessions.

 

Salary:  £30,000 (inclusive of London weighting) per annum plus optional occupational pension available. 

 

Duration/Hours: 12 months with possible extension; Full time – 35 hours per week

 

 

FINANCIAL INCLUSION OFFICER

 

Experience required: You will have knowledge & experience of issues relating to financial exclusion and will support people in managing their money better. You will also deliver one to one and group training. 

 

Salary: £27,540 (inclusive of London weighting) per annum plus optional occupational pension available. Pro rata for part time post.

 

Duration/Hours:12 months with possible extension; part time – 3 days per week

 


GENERALIST ADVISOR

 

Experience required: You must have the Citizens Advice Certificate in General Advice Work and experience of gateway interviewing.

 

Salary: £27,540 (inclusive of London weighting) per annum plus optional occupational pension available. 

 

Duration/Hours: 6 months with possible extension; Full time – 35 hours per week
